One-click install
In cPanel, open “WordPress” or “Softaculous” (or the application installer). Choose “Install Now”, select your domain and directory (e.g. root or a subdirectory), set admin username and password, then complete the wizard.
Manual install
Download WordPress from wordpress.org, upload the files via FTP or File Manager to the correct directory, create a MySQL database and user in cPanel, then run the famous 5-minute install by visiting your domain in the browser.
After installation
Log in to the WordPress admin, set permalinks (e.g. Post name), and install an SSL certificate if you haven’t already (e.g. Let’s Encrypt in cPanel).
Note: Keep WordPress and plugins updated for security.
