How to restore a website

What this solves

Your site is broken or you need to roll back to a previous version. This guide covers restore options.

From your own backup

If you have a cPanel backup or a manual backup: use cPanel Restore (Backup section) for full or partial restore, or upload files via FTP/File Manager and import the database in phpMyAdmin.

From our backups

Open a support ticket and request a restore. Tell us the date and what to restore (e.g. public_html, one database). We’ll check availability and run the restore. You may need to confirm overwrite.

After restore

Test the site. Check that the correct version is live and that config (e.g. wp-config.php) still matches the current database.

Tip: Keep your own recent backups so you’re not dependent only on our retention.

When to contact support

If our backup doesn’t have the date you need or the restore fails, we’ll help troubleshoot.
