How to restore a website

What this solves

Your site is broken or you need to roll back to a previous version.

From your own backup

If you have a cPanel backup: use Restore in cPanel Backup for full or partial restore, or upload files via FTP/File Manager and import the database in phpMyAdmin. See How to create and restore backups.

From platform backups

Open a Support ticket and request a restore. Tell us the date and what to restore (e.g. public_html, one database). We’ll check availability and run the restore after you confirm overwrite. Overview: How backups work on our platform.

After restore

Test the site. Confirm the correct version is live and that config (e.g. wp-config.php) still matches the database.

Tip: Keep your own recent backups so you’re not dependent only on platform retention.

When to contact support

If the needed date isn’t available or the restore fails, we’ll help troubleshoot.
