How to upgrade or downgrade a service

What this solves

Your needs change over time. This guide explains how to upgrade (e.g. more resources) or downgrade (e.g. to a smaller plan).

Upgrading

In the Client Area, open the service you want to upgrade. Look for Upgrade or Change plan. Select the new plan and complete the order. You may be charged a prorated amount. We apply the upgrade with minimal or no downtime.

Downgrading

Downgrades usually take effect at the next renewal so you keep current resources until then. Request a downgrade via the Client Area or a support ticket. We’ll confirm the new plan and renewal date.

Data and limits

When downgrading, ensure your usage (disk, databases, email accounts) fits the lower plan. We can help you check. Back up important data before any plan change.

Note: Refunds for the current term may not apply when downgrading; see our billing policy.

If you don’t see an upgrade/downgrade option or need a custom plan, open a ticket and we’ll assist.
