Where DNS is managed
If your domain uses iHoster24 nameservers, DNS is managed in your client area under the domain or “DNS Management” / “Zone Editor” section.
Common record types
- A – Points the domain or subdomain to an IP.
- MX – Mail servers for receiving email.
- TXT – Verification and SPF/DKIM text records.
- CNAME – Alias (e.g. www to main domain).
Editing records
Open the zone for your domain, then add or edit the record type you need. Changes usually propagate within minutes to a few hours.
Note: If the domain is registered elsewhere and still uses the registrar’s nameservers, manage DNS there or switch to our nameservers to use our DNS.
