Setting up email on Gmail, Outlook, iPhone, Android

What this solves

You want to read and send your domain email from Gmail, Outlook, or a phone. This guide gives the usual server settings and steps.

Server settings

Incoming: IMAP, server mail.yourdomain.com, port 993 (SSL) or 143 (STARTTLS). Outgoing: SMTP, same server, port 465 (SSL) or 587 (STARTTLS). Username: full email (e.g. info@yourdomain.com). Password: the email account password.

Gmail

Settings → See all settings → Accounts → Add mail account. Enter your email, choose “Import emails” and/or “Send from this address,” then enter the IMAP/SMTP settings above.

Outlook

File → Add account → Advanced → IMAP. Enter the IMAP and SMTP settings. Use the full email and password.

iPhone / Android

Add account → Other or IMAP. Enter email, password, and the same IMAP/SMTP server and ports. Some clients auto-detect; if not, choose manual setup.

Note: Exact hostnames also appear in cPanel under Email Accounts → Connect Devices / Configure Mail Client after you Log in to cPanel from the Client Area. Create the mailbox first — Creating email accounts in cPanel.
