How to transfer a domain to us

What this solves

You want to move your domain to iHoster24 so you can manage it with your hosting. This guide explains the transfer process.

Before you start

At your current registrar: unlock the domain, disable privacy if it hides the registrant email, and get the EPP (transfer) code. Ensure the registrant email is valid; the transfer confirmation is sent there.

Step 1: Order transfer

In our Client Area, open Domain Transfer. Enter the domain name and complete the order. You’ll be asked for the EPP code during or after checkout.

Step 2: Approve transfer

Confirm the transfer when you receive the email from the old registrar (or from us, depending on the TLD). Transfers usually complete within 5–7 days.

Step 3: After transfer

Once the transfer completes, the domain appears in your iHoster24 account. You can then point it to our nameservers and manage DNS here.

Warning: Don’t let the domain expire during transfer. Renew at the old registrar if the expiry is soon.

When to contact support

If the transfer is rejected or stuck, open a ticket with the domain name and we’ll help.
