DNS not resolving

What this solves

The domain doesn’t resolve or still points to the old host after you changed DNS.

Check nameservers

At your registrar, confirm the domain uses the correct nameservers (e.g. ours). If you just changed them, wait for propagation (up to 24–48 hours). Use a DNS propagation checker to see what different servers return.

Check A record

Where DNS is managed (us or registrar), ensure the A record for the domain (and www if used) points to the correct server IP. Remove old CNAME or A records that point elsewhere.

Local cache

Your PC or router may cache old DNS. Flush DNS (ipconfig /flushdns or similar) or use another device/network to test.

Note: See “DNS propagation explained” for why changes take time.

When to contact support

If propagation is past 48 hours and the domain still doesn’t resolve correctly, open a ticket with the domain and we’ll verify.
