What this solves
Your script or app requires a specific PHP version. This guide shows how to change it in cPanel.
Where to change it
In cPanel, open MultiPHP Manager or Select PHP Version (name may vary). You’ll see a list of domains/subdomains and the current PHP version.
Select version
Choose the domain or subdomain, then select the PHP version from the dropdown (e.g. 8.1, 8.2). Save. The change applies immediately.
Extensions
Some hosts let you enable/disable PHP extensions in the same tool. Enable what your app needs (e.g. mysqli, curl).
Warning: Older apps may break on PHP 8+. Test on a staging copy or after a backup.
When to contact support
