What this solves
Shared hosting has limits on how many emails you can send per hour/day to protect deliverability for everyone. This guide explains typical limits and good practices.
Typical limits
Limits vary by plan (e.g. 100–300 per hour on shared). Check your welcome email or our documentation. Exceeding limits can temporarily block sending.
Best practices
Use email for transactional and small newsletters. For large campaigns, use a dedicated email service (e.g. Mailchimp, SendGrid). Don’t send huge blasts from cPanel or a script on shared hosting.
If you need more
Upgrade to a plan with higher limits or use an external SMTP provider for bulk. We can point you to options.
Note: Limits help keep our IP reputation good so everyone’s mail is more likely to land in the inbox.
When to contact support
If you’re blocked or need a temporary limit increase for a legitimate use, open a ticket.
