Creating hosting packages

What this solves

You need to define packages (e.g. Basic, Pro) with different disk, bandwidth, and feature limits for your reseller clients.

In WHM

WHM → Packages → Add a Package. Name it (e.g. Basic), set disk quota, bandwidth, max addon domains, subdomains, databases, email accounts, etc. Save.

Using packages

When you create a new account (Create a New Account), select the package. The account will get those limits. You can change the package later if your product allows.

Best practices

Set limits that match what you sell and what the server can handle. Don’t set “unlimited” for everything; use reasonable caps to avoid abuse.
